Hello Everyone, I know this sounds a bit silly but has anyone else experienced a flare up after drinking champaigne? I had just one small glass last weekend (I'm off alcohol because I'm on MTX) and within 30 minutes I felt the awful heaviness in my legs, terrible aching which quickly spread. Had a very sleepless and painful night and was still bad the next day. I don't know if it's all in my mind but it seemed such a coincidence! Has anyone else had this? Poor you! I am afraid I get the complete opposite! I find it all calms down but then it always returns!

It could be that something in the alcohol affected the meds you're on, as everyone is so different.

I am on MTX I do have the odd glass alcohol now and then but have never felt any-thing like that
may-be some-one else on here has had the same feeling as you
take care
